With our simple to follow step-by-step process below you should be able to quickly get subscribed to the podcasts from Calvary Central and Arrowhead.

Step One - Get a MP3 Player (Your computer)

The computer you are viewing this web page with can be used to listen to our MP3 (audio) files. You should already have software installed capable of playing MP3 files - click here to see if you do. Otherwise, you can install Windows Media Player, iTunes for the MAC or any other MP3 player software. If you have a mobile MP3 player, such as an iPOD, then you can even take the MP3 podcast files with you!

Step Two - Install iPodder OR If you have iTunes click here

It is easy to automatically receive the teachings. Simply install a free program called iPodder. This program will automatically check for new available services from Calvary Central - Arrowhead and download them for you. Click here to download & install iPodder

Step Three - Subscribe to Calvary Central - Arrowhead's Podcast

Now all you have to do is subscribe to our podcast. Simply open iPodder, go to the Subscriptions tab {see image 1} and click the, "Add New Feed" icon and paste:
http://feeds.feedburner.com/CalvaryNews into the URL field {see image 2} and click the Save button.

That's it. You should now be setup to automatically receive Pastor John W. Brown's teachings, after they are posted.

What is "podcasting?"

In addition to "Broadcasting" LIVE we are creating MP3 (audio) files of Pastor John's teachings and making them available for others to download for free from the Internet. This allows the person downloading the file to listen at their convenience. For example, any of the teachings and outlines that are available on www.calvarycentral.org, you can have your computer automatically download and then listen to at your convenience.

The term "pod" in “podcasting,” comes from the fact that the iPOD is the mobile MP3 player that a large number of people use to listen to MP3 files.

So “podcasting” is subscribing to audio programs that you can listen to WHEN and WHERE you want via a downloaded MP3 file.

Why should I subscribe?

Jesus said, "Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness." Subscribing to the Podcasts from Calvary Central and Arrowhead allows you to listen a second time to a service you've attended. Once you've subscribed to the podcast, if you happen to miss a service, your computer will automatically download it, thus allowing you to stay current of all the teachings from Pastor John W. Brown.

Downloading the podcasts will also allow you to create a library of teachings for your personal Bible study and quiet time.
